The City of Dawson Recreation Department is based out of the Art and Margaret Fry Recreation Centre. During the “off season” the north side parking lot entrance may be used.  The Rec office is staffed Monday to Friday but may be closed during scheduled programs.

Our recreation programs run out of the following locations:

• The Fitness Centre, located in the Waterfront Building at 1085 Front Street, south section.  The Fitness Centre is supervised by volunteers.  Respect these voluteers and follow the rules of the facility.

• The RSS (Robert Service School) Gym and Ancillary Room, located in Robert Service School at 909 5th Avenue. (You must use the south playground entrance adjacent to the “big toy” playground.) Schedule
